Every year the Vatican Museums, which count to one of the biggest Museums in the world, welcome an average of almost 5 million visitors. This can, with no doubt, lead to immense waiting queues at the entrance. In order to save precious time, that would rather be used for exploring the numerous sections and art collections of the Museums, it is essential to pre-book your ticket in advance, in order to enjoy direct access with a reservation.

Visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point. Please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security. A dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums and knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women
